Thank you for taking the time to be here. I know it can take a great deal of courage to even begin searching for a therapist, and I want to honor the strength it took to arrive at this point. Reaching out is a brave and meaningful step, and when you’re ready, we can begin this healing journey together. My name is Lauren (she/her), and I’m here to walk alongside you in your healing journey. My style is warm, compassionate, and grounding, while also rooted in evidence-based practice. I provide a collaborative space to reflect, explore new perspectives, and build the tools that support lasting change. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, kink allied, polyamory affirming, sex positive, trauma informed, and anti-racist. I specialize in cancer and illness, sexual health, women’s health, young adulthood, and relationships. Before founding Kindroot Counseling, I worked in hospital systems, cancer centers, and healthcare offices, where I saw firsthand how healing is possible even in the hardest seasons. Those experiences continue to shape the way I show up in the therapy room today. Whether you’re navigating a specific concern or simply the ups and downs of life, I will meet you with care, curiosity, and deep respect for your story.
